Rumors are popping up that technology giant Samsung is planning to unveil an 11.6-inch Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet at the upcoming Mobile World Congress [ MWC ] which is scheduled in February next year in Barcelona.
BGR published that Samsung is set to launch this device at MWC. The site reported that though the tablet has a larger screen display than Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1, the device will be “barely larger” due to a thinner bezel.
On the Specs front, BGR says that the tablet will have a 11.6-inch display screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio & a whopping 2560x1600p resolution. The device will be powered by a dual-core Exynos 5250 CPU clocked at 2GHz. The tablet will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, supporting Android Beam to sync stuff with other devices like Galaxy Nexus.
The list doesn’t stops here… it will have a special wireless docking mode for gaming on HDTVs that will help Samsung compete with Apple TV, AirPlay and more.
Nothing above is officially confirmed by Samsung.
