Andy Rubin, Senior Vice President of Mobile at Google announced that over 700,000 Android devices are now being activated every day.
In his Twitter and Google+ account he said “There are now over 700,000 Android devices activated every day”
He said that they count each device one time only means they are not counting re-sold devices and activations means a person buys a device from a store and register the device by subscribing on any wireless network.
