Blackberry gets Samsung’s ChatON Instant Messaging Service

ChatON for BlackberrySamsung is extending its cross-platform instant messaging service, ChatON to other devices as well. ChatON is now available on the BlackBerry platform. Currently ChatON is available on Android, iOS, bada and web platforms. Samsung has released a new version of ChatON for Blackberry Torch 9800 model and will be made available on other Blackberry devices soon.

Blackberry users can have a 1:1 conversation, group chat, attachment and emoticons support and more with other ChatON users irrespective of the device.

Samsung is also planning to release ChatON for Windows Phone in the coming weeks.
