Samsung Galaxy S III MiniAfter the assurance from Samsung that they have no plan to launch its Galaxy S III Mini smartphone in US market, Apple agreed to withdraw its patent claims against the said device.

Earlier, Apple has added the name of Galaxy S III Mini in the list of its ongoing disputes with the Samsung. Samsung has confirmed that since they will not make the device available in United States, it should be excluded from the case.

This withdrawal will in no way create any obstacle for Apple to re-file the motion to include the device in lawsuit, if Samsung change its mind and decides to launch the device in US.

Apple said that Galaxy S III Mini is available in US through online retailer Amazon.com.
